Vacuum collection of leaves will start back on Monday, March 15th. We (Solid Waste Bureau) have been involved with a large number of brush collection tickets over the past few weeks after the snow storms. Leaf collection efforts were suspended in late December due to the first major snow fall. Donaldson Run is in what we at Solid Waste call collection zone five (5). We have eight civic associations that still need collection efforts that will start this Monday. The civic associations are as follows: Williamsburg, Rock Springs, Old Glebe, Gulf Branch, Bellevue Forest, Donaldson Run, Maywood and Woodmont. The collection order has not been established. However, to start, we will only have one collection vehicle handling the eight civic associations that remain in zone five. Every civic association will receive their second pass but when to expect the completion specifically in Donaldson Run is unknown at this time.
